Churchtown Main House
About this house - main house sleeps 9
This is a house with incredible history. Churchtown House has a magnificent energy and will feel like a home away from home. The house has been recently renovated with many of the original features restored. Two open fires give a very cosy feel to the winters and the gardens are a safe great play area for kids in the spring and summer. The Patio area has the perfect view of the sea for those early morning coffees and afternoon teas.
Churchtown Main House has three double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, with one double room accommodating an additional single bed. There are two main bathrooms upstairs and a shower room/toilet downstairs. The kitchen has a breakfast table and leads into the dining room space. The lounge has a television, DVD player, plenty of board games and there is great wifi throughout the house to connect to Netflix and other entertainment channels.
This is a great house for children, but we do not have a stair gate on the stairs. We can provide a travel cot and highchair.
While access to Perranuthnoe is easy by train into Penzance, it is good to have a car so that you can visit the numerous sites around Cornwall!
Guest access
There is parking in the courtyard, but we suggest that you park on the street in front of the house. We'll be in touch with detail on the property to ensure that you have everything to make your stay the most memorable it can be.
Other things to note
The house has great wifi, hairdryers, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Historic Churchtown House is in the village of Perranuthnoe, on the south coast of Cornwall. The walk to the beach is five minutes from the house with the local pub, The Victoria Inn, a mere minutes walk away. There is a local farm shop nearby and The Cabin is right on Perranuthnoe beach for great lunches, cornish pasties, hot chocolates or something stronger!
